This Is Not
Where I End
A memoir of divorce without a drink
A clear-eyed story about losing the life you knew—and meeting the woman waiting on the other side.

Divorce ◆ Sobriety ◆ Identity ◆ The brave work of beginning again
The book
This is not a tidy ending.
It is the story of what comes next.
When the life Sonia Kahlon had carefully built came apart, she faced divorce, betrayal, and the loss of familiar identities without reaching for the drink that once helped her disappear.
This Is Not Where I End is a memoir about staying present through rupture—and learning that survival can become something larger: a return to creativity, agency, and self.
Publication updates and excerpts will be shared here.
